Jon Whiddon

(1960-2008)

A self taught artist, Jon began painting in 1999 after moving to south Georgia to care for his father on his family’s farm. Jon soon began to paint the landscapes which surrounded him. Taking in the big sky and lost horizons of vast flat pastures and long straight roads, his paintings soon became enchanting expressions of vibrant lines and intense light.

In a few short years, Jon developed his distinctive and easily recognizable style. His personality still shines bright through giclee’ prints of his work, which so perfectly depict his vibrant and definitely original art.
