Regina Varani

I have been painting for approximately 20 years. In the first years was mainly watercolors. Gradually I moved into acrylics and collage but always returning to watercolors. I like to work by series moving from one subject to other. However my hallmark subject is “under the microscope” which is inspired by what I see under the microscope. I am a retired pathologist. I find exciting to use different painting surfaces ( paper, yupo, canvas, wood board, aluminum and glass). For the past 12 years I have been the owner of GALERIA REGINA, which is now in Decatur, Georgia. I enjoyed the contact with many artists but in the last 2 years the gallery is working mainly as my private studio .
