Martha Ogletree
Having been interested in pottery my whole life, I didn’t began pursuing it as a serious hobby until later in life. Although through the years I have taken many classes and workshops with a variety of skilled potters, my greatest satisfaction has come from applying all that I learn into my own style and expression. There is always something new to learn about the art of pottery, but that keeps me actively seeking new information and trying new techniques of the making, glazing, firing - that are never the same outcome for any two pieces. My style keeps changing as my skills progress.
