Carole Young McCollum has lived in six States and traveled extensively throughout the country. However, her inspiration and her subject matter has always been derived from her native Georgia, particularly the North Georgia mountains where she has a cabin on Goshen Mountain in Habersham County. In Carole’s art, she strives to capture the timeless wonder and beauty of nature, and enable people to bring that beauty into their own homes.
Carole graduated from the Atlanta School of Fine Art and has attended various workshops, including a workshop given by the late Tom Landreth. She has exhibited her work in numerous shows throughout the country and won many awards such as first place at the Monmouth Township 27th Annual Juried Show and second place in the Collin County Juried Art Competition. She is currently a member of the Georgia Heritage Art Association, and the North Georgia Artists Guild.
Carole presently has limited edition prints available, and is represented by the Hollow Log, Cornelia, GA. She also accepts work on consignment.
