Patti and her husband Terry moved to North Georgia from Decatur 13 years ago when they discovered they could work anywhere by modem. Patti wanted property that backed up to the National Forest, not realizing what a new world that would open to them and their cameras.

To their delight they often see black bears, a mom with three cubs, whitetail deer with fawns, an occasional bobcat, skunk, and other wildlife. They are constantly looking out their windows to see who might be visiting them.

Other subjects they enjoy photographing are hummingbirds, flowers, pets and children. Their photography can be seen in several shops: Soque Art Works in Clarkesville, The Tallulah Point gift shop, The Interpretive Center gift shop at the Tallulah Gorge, and Mountain Crafts Co-Op in Clayton, Ga.
