After 30 years of teaching Marine Science in Florida, Kathy aka "Suzy" and husband Rocky retired to a home on Tiger Mountain.

She refers to herself as a "crafter-dabbler" having worked with painting furniture, stained glass, pottery and her present focus - mirrors with mosaic borders, small glass tiles and broken pottery. Several of her tile mirrors have a hidden message in Morse Code. The dots and dashes are represented by different colors and spaces between letters and words by other colors.

Kathy and her sister, Joey have formed "Herz'nMine Studios although there is no REAL studio.
